January 23, 2012- Do You Know Your AGO?

Today’s “Do You Know Your AGO?” interview focuses on Ben Cornelius-Bates, AAGO. Ben is a Duquesne graduate as well as adjunct professor. He is the Director of Music at Saint Paul of the Cross Monastery in the South Side of Pittsburgh.

What are your top five books you like to read?
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, At the Mountains of Madness, Moneyball, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, and Bel Canto.

What is your favorite vacation spot?
The Bitteroot Mountains in Western Montana.

What is your favorite organ work?
Bach: Clavierübung III.

What is your favorite composition?
Duruflé’s “Requiem”.

What are your top five movies to watch?
(in no particular order)
Army of Darkness, A Man for All Seasons, Vestigo, The Thing, Aliens.

What is your favorite quote?

What do you like about being a young person in the AGO?
Actually, I like being one of the taller people in the AGO.
